Residential dry vent cleaning. Removed old dryer venting that was falling apart and replaced it with metal dryer vent. House was having hot and cold spots in house. Looked at HVAC system and found that the indoor coil was dirty making the system struggle to keep up with cooling the house. Cleaning coil in place and air conditioner system is running more efficiently.

San Marcos, TX - Performed heat check on a Trane gas system. The system has 3 zones. I turned the system to heat and the furnace went through it sequence of operation. Blower amps are in range. Inducer motor amps are in range. Delta T is in range. ZERO carbon monoxide detected in the home. There was a quarter size hole on the supply plenum. I used spray adhesive and foil tape to seal up the hole. I replaced the Aprilaire filter.

Residential Heater is only blowing cold. Set the thermostat to heat and checked the condenser. Reversing valve is energized and running in cooling. This is a Ruud system. After tracing down the wiring I found an electrical fault in the harness. We repaired the fault and the reversing is switching over properly now. Ruud system is operating properly at this time.

Filters are fairly clean. I cleared the drain line. Electric heat is operating properly. Compressor, condenser fan motor, and voltage enhancement system are in range. Subcooling for Refrigerant charge is low.
